CTET July 2024: CBSE has started the registration process for CTET July 2024. Candidates who want to appear in the July session of Central Teacher Eligibility Test can apply by visiting the official website of CBSE CTET, ctet.nic.in. CTET exam will be conducted on 7th July 2024. The last date for online application for this is 2 April 2024. The last date for submitting fees is also 2 April 2024. This time CTET exam will be held in 20 languages ​​in 136 cities.

Let us tell you that CBSE conducts CTET exam twice every year. The first examination is conducted in the month of July and the second in the month of December. Successful candidates participating in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for class 1 to class 5. Whereas the successful candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who pass this examination can apply for appointment to the post of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Army schools across the country.

1. The validity of CTET certificate will be lifelong.

2- Admit cards of the candidates will be issued two days before the exam. CTET result will be announced at the end of August.

3. If there is any mistake in the application form, correction can be made between April 8 and April 12, 2024.

4. What is the application eligibility for CTET Paper-1 (1st class to 5th class) (CTET Paper-1 Eligibility)
– 12th pass with 50% marks and two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Or
12th pass with 50% marks and 4 year B.EI.Ed.
Or
12th pass with 50% marks and two year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

5. What is the application eligibility for CTET Paper-2 (6th class to 8th class)?
Graduation and Diploma in Elementary Education
Or
Graduation and B.Ed with 50% marks
Or
12th pass with 50% marks and 4 year B.EI.Ed.
Or
12th pass with 50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BAEd/B.Sc.Ed.

6. Application Fee –
General and OBC
Rs 1000 for Paper-1 or Paper-2
For both papers – Rs 1200

SC, ST, Divyang
For Paper-1 or Paper-2 – Rs 500

7. What should be the minimum marks?
To pass the CTET exam, any candidate is required to secure minimum qualifying marks. CTET Minimum Passing Marks – For General category, you should get at least 90 marks out of 150 (60 percent), while for SC, ST, you should get 82 marks out of 150 (55 percent).

8. Exam Schedule
CTET Paper-2 will be conducted on July 7 from 9:30 am to 12 noon. The paper will be of two and a half hours.
CTET Paper-1 will be held on July 7 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The paper will be of two and a half hours.

9. Exam Pattern
CTET Paper-1 (for class 1st to 5th) – There will be 150 questions of 150 marks.
Child Development and Pedagogy (Compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks
Language I (Compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks
Language II (Compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks
Maths – 30 questions of 30 marks
Environment Studies- 30 questions of 30 marks

10. CTET Paper-2 (for class 6th to 8th) – There will be 150 questions of 150 marks.
Child Development and Pedagogy (Compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks
Language I (Compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks
Language II (Compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks
Maths and Science (for Maths and Science teachers) or Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teachers) – 60 questions of 60 marks
