CTET 2024 Exam: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 session, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, will be conducted today in two shifts in different cities across the country. The CTET exam of the first shift will start from 9:30 am on January 21 and will continue till 12 noon. The second shift exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. CTET 2024 admit card has already been released. Candidates who have not yet received the admit card can download it by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in.
CBSE has also issued some guidelines in the admit card regarding CTET exam which are very important to keep in mind. See further CBSE guidelines regarding CTET exam:
1- Candidates whose photo or signature is not visible properly in the admit card and who are not going to the examination center with their admit card along with valid photo identity card, such candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Such candidates should carefully check their name, date of birth, gender, category and language etc.
2- Candidates should reach the examination center 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidates reporting after the gates of the examination center are closed will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
3- Candidates going to appear for CTET exam must carry a blue or black colored ballpoint pen with them. You will not be allowed to leave the examination center before the end of the examination.
4- Candidates suffering from diabetes will be allowed to carry food items like banana, chocolate, apple-orange etc. However, these things will have to be submitted to the examiner.
5- These things will be allowed to be taken to the examination center – 500ml transparent bottle of water, admit card, original identity card, Aadhaar, passport, driving license or voter ID, ballpoint pen.
6- Biometric attendance of the candidates will be most important in the examination centre. If the candidate leaves the examination center before completing it, his/her examination may be cancelled.
