BSSC Inter Level Exam: Bihar Staff Selection Commission has given an opportunity to improve the application for the second inter level examination. Candidates can make corrections in their application form today from 18th January to 18th February. Candidates will also have to upload scanned original copies (in PDF form) of their reservation, educational, technical and other important documents. Now the preliminary examination is expected to be held in March and April. The number of candidates who have applied is more than 25.5 lakh. In such a situation, the examination will be conducted in several phases. For this the Commission will have to make major preparations. There should not be any problem in the exam.
It is noteworthy that the process of appointment of candidates for a total of 12,199 posts is to be done through inter level examination. Bihar Staff Selection Commission had taken applications for the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination 2023 till 11 December 2023.
Out of total 12199 vacancies, 5503 posts are unreserved. 1201 posts are reserved for EWS, 1377 for Backward Class, 2083 for Extremely Backward Class, 1540 for SC, 91 for ST and 404 for women from Backward Class.
How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected through preliminary written examination, main examination and skill test. If more than 40 thousand applications are received for recruitment, the preliminary examination will be held in more than one phase.
– Prelims exam will be objective type. In Prelims, questions will be asked from General Studies, General Science, Mathematics, Mental Ability.

Result will be released through normalized method
In case the examination is conducted in different shifts, the result will be released in the normalized method. Candidates five times the number of vacancies will be passed in PT. These candidates will appear in the main examination.
Inter Level Prelims Exam Passing Marks- Minimum qualifying marks for General Category is 40%, 36.5% for BC, 34% for MBC, 32% for SC ST.
