BSEB Bihar Board Matric Exam 2024: BSEB Matric Exam 2024 officially started from 15th February. On the first day of the exam, students in the state took the exam in mother tongue subjects (Hindi, Bengali, Urdu and Maithili) in two shifts at 1,585 exam centres. Whereas in Purnia district of Bihar, the examination of theory subjects of matriculation ended peacefully at all the 45 examination centres. There was no expulsion from the examination on charges of misconduct at any examination center on the first day of examination. A total of 748 candidates remained absent from all 45 examination centres. In the first shift, 19377 candidates and in the second shift, 17710 candidates appeared in the examination. During the first day of examination, all the center superintendents deputed at all the examination centres, deputed magistrates and police officials and concerned officers were alert towards conducting the examination in a peaceful and malpractice-free environment in the light of the guidelines.

No candidate was allowed to enter the examination centers wearing shoes and socks. Candidates who reached the examination center wearing shoes had to take off their shoes outside the examination centre. Admit cards were searched at the entry gate. After which the candidates were allowed to go inside the examination centre. During the examination, Section 144 was imposed by the district administration at a distance of 500 meters of the examination centre. Even after this, a crowd of parents remained outside the examination centers in both the shifts. In the examination, candidates were allowed to enter the examination hall till 9 am in the first shift and till 1:30 pm in the second shift.

The questions asked in the mother tongue examination in both the shifts brought a smile on the faces of the candidates.

On the first day of the matriculation examination, mother tongue subject examination was conducted in both the shifts. In both the shifts, the examination was conducted on mother tongue subjects like Hindi, Bengali, Urdu and Maithili. On the first day of the examination, the candidates seemed happy with the questions given to them inside the examination centre. As soon as they came out of the examination centres, the candidates expressed happiness to their families and also showed enthusiasm for getting good marks. Rahul Kumar, who came out of Purnia Mahila College Examination Center in the first shift, said that short, long and objective easy questions were asked in the examination. Most of the questions were asked from within the syllabus.

Some questions were also related to the syllabus of class 8th. In the first shift, questions related to the biography of Swami Vivekananda were asked. He was asked to write an application to the school principal, requesting him to get the school cleaned. They were asked to write a dialogue between two students about the importance of exercise to keep the body healthy. How many years did Pandit Birju Maharaj stay in Kanpur? One had to read a passage and answer the questions related to it, in which the worship of sages and saints along with the form of Lord Shri Krishna has been mentioned. Questions related to correctness and inaccuracy of sentences were asked.

Alok Kumar, who appeared for the exam from Women’s College in the second shift, said that the questions were not difficult. In the question paper of 100 marks, questions were asked from the syllabus only. In the second shift in Hindi questions, Sita jumped from the roof was an example of which factor was asked. Let us tell you, the second day of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) class 10th or matriculation final examinations has started from 9.30 am. Today Mathematics paper is being conducted in both the shifts.
