BSEB Bihar Board: Matriculation exam will be held from 15th to 23rd February. Candidates will be prohibited from wearing shoes and socks. In this regard, Bihar School Examination Committee has sent a letter to all the District Magistrates, Magistrates, Program Officers, District Education Officers and others. The board has said that the first shift examination will start from 9:30 am. Entry into the center will be allowed only till 9 o’clock. The second shift examination will start at 2 pm. The entry time for this is till 1:30 pm. Now the gate of the center will have to be opened one hour before the start of the examination. This time around 16 lakh candidates will appear in the matriculation examination. 1585 centers have been created.
Roll, code, subject and division wise list of candidates has been sent to the districts. Answer sheets and OMR answer sheets containing data have also been made available. In view of the shortage of examination buildings in the district headquarters and sub-divisions in proportion to the increasing number of candidates, the matriculation examination will be conducted in two shifts. The affiliation of schools has been done separately shift wise along with the number of candidates.
Number of students and examination centers increased:
According to Bihar Board, this time 16 lakh 94 thousand 564 candidates will appear in the matriculation examination of the year 2024. Whereas in the year 2023, 19 lakh 10 thousand 657 candidates had filled the examination form. Bihar Board Secondary Annual Examination will be conducted from 15 February to 23 February 2024. Whereas the Inter examination will run from 1 to 12 February 2024. Inter annual examination will be taken at 1522 centers and matriculation at 1583 centres. Bihar Board had released the list of centers for both Inter and Matriculation. This time the number of centers for the Inter and Matriculation examinations of 2024 has also increased. 51 examination centers have been increased in Inter and 58 centers for Matric annual examination.
