Bihar Board Matriculation examination is going to start from 15th February. Bhabua DM Sawan Kumar held a meeting with administrative, police and education department officers and center superintendents on Tuesday in the meeting room of the Collectorate regarding the matriculation examination. DM said that all the candidates have to enter 30 minutes before the start of the examination. The first shift exam will be held from 09:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second shift exam will be held from 02:00 pm to 5:15 pm. The candidates of the first shift will enter by 09:00 and the candidates of the second shift will enter by 01:30. Candidates coming after this will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.

He said that the candidates have to be admitted only after checking them. During this time it has to be ensured that no candidate has cheats, spare parts or electronic equipment. No candidate will take the exam wearing shoes and socks. The center superintendents were directed to ensure cleanliness of the center and arrangements for toilets, drinking water and lighting. To maintain peace and law and order at the examination centres, Static Magistrate, Senior Static Magistrate, police officials along with armed police force and zonal and super zonal magistrates have been deputed at every centre.
Keeping in mind the malpractice-free conduct of examinations, instructions have been given to install CCTV cameras outside each examination center and at necessary places, so that the anti-social elements who create obstacles in the conduct of malpractice-free examinations remain in the camera’s sight. For this, you will ensure to display the poster at the examination centers under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. District Control Room has been established in the District Confidential Branch. Officers will perform their duties honestly
Officers were directed to ensure that they take all necessary action to conduct this examination in a clean, malpractice-free and peaceful environment with full devotion, honesty and sensitivity towards duty. Additional Collector, Deputy Development Commissioner, District Education Officer, District Panchayati Raj Officer, all deputed officers, police officers, both SDOs, SDPOs, Center Superintendents participated in the meeting.
