BPSC TRE Exam analysis: The teacher appointment competitive examination was conducted in two shifts at 24 examination centers in the city on Friday in a peaceful environment. In the first shift, the examination for appointment to classes six to eight was held at 14 examination centres. Candidates from Mathematics, Social Science, Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Urdu subjects participated in it. In the second shift, 10 examinations were held at the centers for classes one to five. Candidates for General, Urdu and Bengali appeared in it. General Studies examination was conducted in both the shifts. However, after matching the e-admit cards and admit cards containing photographs, the candidates of the school teacher appointment examination in both the shifts were admitted to the examination centre. As per the instructions of the Commission, scanning of the QR code given on the admit card as well as the OMR sheet was done so that there are no irregularities in the examination. To prevent malpractice, investigation was also done through face capturing along with finger print.

However, the candidates who came out of the examination center said that instead of four options in the examination, none of the suitable options were given in the fifth option, due to which there was confusion. The examinees said that questions based on facts were asked. Less questions were asked from History. Which were of this type.

Along with this, the candidates said that it takes more time to solve science questions. There were some questions in science which were a little difficult to solve. Many questions came from the question bank in the teacher recruitment examination.

There were strict security arrangements at the examination centres, officials remained alert.

The question paper in TRE 3 examination was opened in front of the candidates in the examination hall at the examination centers in both the shifts. After the completion of the examination, the answer sheets were packed in front of the candidates. Strict security arrangements were made at all the examination centers in the teacher recruitment examination. The candidates were being searched extensively before entering the examination centre. There was a complete ban on carrying electronic goods at the centres. Women police force was deployed to investigate the female candidates. Magistrates, police officers, zonal and super zonal magistrates, along with armed forces, deputed by the district administration were deployed for the examination. Sadar SDO Sunil Kumar said that the examination was completed in a peaceful environment at all the centres.

There was a crowd of parents including candidates at the examination centers.

In the teacher recruitment examination, a total of 14 thousand 460 candidates, including both the shifts, were going to appear in the teacher appointment competitive examination. The number of candidates to appear in the first shift was 8 thousand 340 and 6 thousand 120 were to appear in the second shift. Section 144 was in force within a radius of 500 yards of the examination centre. Photostat shops around the examination center remained closed. There was a huge crowd of candidates at other examination centers including Islamian High School, DAV High School and VM High School located at Purana Qila.

Parents had also arrived along with the female candidates. Candidates were allowed entry only one hour before the commencement of the examination. No candidate was allowed to enter the examination center after 8:30 in the first shift and after 1:30 in the second shift. Two and a half hours before the commencement of the examination in both the shifts i.e. from 7 am in the morning in the first shift and from 12 noon in the second shift along with intensive frisking of the candidates at the entrance of the examination center by scanning the QR bar code printed on the e-admit card of the candidates. While scanning, the photo and admit card were matched and admission was being done in the examination centre.
