The work of thumb verification of teachers in the premises of Bhagalpul District Education Officer office will now remain closed till January 20. Actually, from January 18, school allotment is to be done to the teachers of Bhagalpur district selected in the second phase of BPSC teacher recruitment. DEO Sanjay Kumar said that it is necessary for the DPO to remain in the establishment’s office during biometric verification. He will go to Patna with the roster for school allotment in the second phase of restoration process. For this, the work of thumb verification of teachers will remain closed till January 20.

In the blocks where verification work was to be done during this period, thumb verification will now be done after February 2. The DEO said that after biometric verification at the district level, all the candidates of the first phase will be verified block wise and then in Patna also. Fake teachers will not be able to escape the attention of the department under any circumstances. Till now, a total of 40 teachers from different blocks have not appeared for thumb verification. The department has asked clarification from all of them. All these teachers will have to send their clarification through BEO.

The absent teachers include 19 from Ismailpur, Rangra Chowk and Navgachia blocks, nine from Gopalpur, seven from Peerpainti and five from Narayanpur block. After February 2, all of them will be given one last chance for thumb verification. In this too, the District Education Department will blacklist the absent teachers and write to the Education Department for action against them.
