The attendance of the candidates in the third phase of Bihar teacher recruitment examination on Friday was 80 percent. According to BPSC, 9 candidates were caught appearing for the exam in place of others in both the shifts. In the first shift, three fake candidates were caught from Muzaffarpur and two from Aurangabad. In the second shift, one candidate each was arrested from Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Bhojpur and Rohtas. Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that the candidates on whose behalf they had come to appear for the examination will be banned from all examinations of the Commission. The examination was conducted at 415 centers in 26 districts of the state. Candidates were standing in line at the examination center since morning.

After investigation, everyone was allowed entry into the examination centre. Some candidates arrived late and were not given admission. It took place peacefully at 22 centers in Patna. In Patna, the examination was held at many centers including Ram Mohan Roy Seminary School, Sir GD Patliputra Higher Secondary School, Ganga Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Raghunath Prasad Girls High School, Kamala Nehru Higher Secondary School. The examination was conducted peacefully at all the centres. The administration had made concrete arrangements. CCTV cameras and jammers were installed and videography was also being done.

Solver gang exposed in Hazaribagh, 300 arrested

On the information of Bihar Police, Barhi Police stopped two buses coming from Hazaribagh at 5-6 am on Friday morning. There were more than 80 candidates in the buses. The buses were brought to the police station and Bihar Police was informed. Hazaribagh SP Arvind Kumar Singh said that many have been arrested.
