Children of Bihar are ahead of 13 states in mathematics and language. In mathematics, 66 percent students are six percent more than the national standard of 60 percent. At the same time, the students of Bihar have reached the national level standard of 68 in command of the language. This has been revealed by the National Achievement Survey 2023 conducted by NCERT. According to the survey, the language of students of Bihar is better than that of states like Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand etc. In mathematics, it is better than Jharkhand along with Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand. Let us tell you that the National Achievement Survey has been done after 2021. Every two years, NCERT organizes it in government schools of all the states of the country. In comparison to the year 2021, the grip of students on language and mathematics subjects has become stronger in the year 2023. This report was released on Friday. This time a better situation has been seen in language, mathematics, science and social sciences, whereas in the year 2021, the students of Bihar were behind the students of Jharkhand in language, this time they have left Jharkhand behind.

Students of class 5th, 8th and 10th participated:
It was organized at the state level by SCERT and Bihar Education Project Council. Students of classes 5th, 8th and 10th were included in this. More than five lakh students from more than 66 thousand schools across the state had appeared in the written examination.

Different standards set for each subject:
Four subjects, mathematics, language, science and social science were included in the survey. The standards of each subject were different. Bihar students have reached the national standard in all subjects. At the national level, the language standard was kept at 68 and mathematics at 60.
