Bihar Board Inter examination started from Thursday. On the first day, many students reached the examination center 5 to 10 minutes late and were refused entry. Gogri BDO refused to allow five female candidates, who came 10 minutes late to appear in the first shift of the Inter examination held at Bhagwan Inter School located at Gogri sub-division headquarters in Khagaria district, from entering the examination centre. The candidates made many requests to the BDO, but the BDO did not listen to them. Angry female candidates tore their admit cards and threw them near the main gate of the examination centre.

Local people told that five candidates had reached the examination center at 9.13 am. The main gate was closed at that time. The BDO present at the center said that the time for entry of the candidates was fixed till 9 o’clock only. Entry will not be allowed if you arrive late. Here, Gogri BDO Rajaram Pandit said that following the guidelines set by the Bihar School Examination Committee, entry was not allowed after 9 o’clock.

In Jehanabad, the girl students who were deprived of the examination created a ruckus. They blocked NH 110. Due to closure of entry at examination centers at 9 o’clock, more than 50 girl students were deprived of the examination. Police used force to clear the jam near the examination centre. The girl students entered the Gautam Buddha examination center by breaking the gate.
