Kamya, a resident of Odisha, has been a promising student since childhood. He had secured 98.6% marks in class 12th examination. In which she became the regional topper.
Let us tell you, Kamya Mishra did her primary education from KIIT International School, Odisha and after this, she took a graduation degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. In the third year of college, she decided that she would prepare for UPSC. After which he started preparations.
This journey was not easy for Kamya Mishra, she knew that UPSC preparation is difficult and it would not be right to prepare for it without planning. He made a strategy for preparation and decided how much time to give to each subject. He had made separate strategies for Prelims, Mains and Interview. He had also practiced a lot in answer writing for Mains. He believes that no exam can be cleared without practice.
Kamya Mishra appeared for the UPSC exam for the first time in the year 2019 and cracked the exam with 172nd rank in her first attempt. He achieved the rank of Indian Police Service (IPS) at the age of 22. After completion of IPS training, he was initially allotted Himachal cadre, later he was transferred to Bihar cadre. His first posting in Bihar was as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Patna.
