JSSC CGL Exam: Ranchi Police’s SIT on Sunday arrested Jharkhand Assembly Under Secretary Mohd. Shamim in connection with the leak of question paper of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. The team has also arrested the Under Secretary along with his two sons. According to the information received, admit cards, mobile phones and plain checks of many competitive students have been found from them. JSSC CGL exam was held on January 28 but its question paper was already leaked. After this, along with this examination, the examination to be held on February 4 was also cancelled.

It is noteworthy that the SIT team had arrested two people from Medininagar in this case. He is also being interrogated in Ranchi. According to the information, the SSP of Ranchi had formed SIT on the instructions of Chief Minister Champai Soren to investigate the matter of leak of Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination 2023 (JSSC CGL) question paper. When the police officials included in the team started an in-depth investigation into the paper leak case, concrete information was found regarding the Under Secretary, among others. After this, a raid was conducted and he and his two sons were taken into custody. After this, many important clues were found during interrogation. The team is taking further action on this. Apart from Jharkhand, the team is also conducting raids in other parts of the country in search of the mastermind and main conspirator in the parcha leak case. The team has come to know that the links of the Parcha leak case are also linked to many organized gangs of other states which are experts in this kind of work. Apart from this, the team is also busy arresting those who circulated the leaked pamphlet through WhatsApp.
