Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu has given a good news giving relief to class 10th students. He said that if questions are asked from outside the syllabus in the Class 10th Mathematics exam, then all the students will be given full marks in the exam. Whether a student has solved that question or not.

Let us tell you, board exams are going on in the state, in such a situation, students in some parts of the state on Friday alleged that some questions in the mathematics paper were asked from outside the syllabus and they were given less than 100 marks without their fault. You may have to lose at least 25 points. If this allegation made by the students is proved true then all the students will be given full marks.

Addressing the media on the issue, Pegu said that a departmental inquiry has been initiated and a final decision will be taken after receiving the report. “The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has been directed to investigate the matter. If the allegations are true, each student will get these 25 marks,” he said.

Class 10th final examination, also known as High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC), is conducted in Assam by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). The examination began on February 16, in which a total of 4,25,965 students appeared from across the state.

Let us tell you, on the first day of the examination, a case of question paper leak came to light from Cachar district. Minutes after the exam began, the question paper of ‘General English’ subject was found circulating on WhatsApp. According to some media reports, the question paper was leaked from Nenamiya School in Cachar. In this case, till now Assam Police has taken four people including a teacher into custody.
