In the first shift examination of Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary Competitive Examination 2023 (11th JPSC), candidates created a ruckus in Chatra, Jamtara and Dhanbad, alleging that the paper was leaked. During this, they raised slogans and demanded cancellation of the examination. JPSC says that further action will be taken on the DC’s report. In Jamtara, students protested in the first shift at the examination center of Tribal Degree College and Inter College Mihijam, Mihijam, alleging that the question paper was leaked. Due to this the exam started half an hour late. 364 candidates were appearing for the examination at both these examination centres.

On the other hand, in Dhanbad also, at the examination center in Delhi Public School, students accused some special students of giving advantage in the examination, whereas in Government High School, Putki, the students who came to take the examination started a ruckus due to not tallying the numbers of the answer sheet. . Candidates also accused of not opening the question paper in front. Out of total 536 students who had come to take part in the examination, 502 students completely boycotted the examination which was held in the second shift.

The video of malpractice at Jamtara examination center in JPSC examination is going viral on social media. In this case, DC of Jamtara said that a three-member SIT has been formed to investigate the viral video of candidates committing misconduct.

In the initial investigation of EOU, it has become clear that the question paper of the third phase of teacher reinstatement examination under BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) was out. Now an 8-member team has been formed under the leadership of EOU SP Vaibhav Sharma for detailed investigation of this matter. One ASP, 3 DSPs and 3 Inspectors have been kept in it. In this matter, raids were conducted at half a dozen places in Patna and surrounding areas on Sunday also. Till now 313 people involved in this racket have been arrested.
