Will not study in BA in Fashion Design and Technology
There is no good news for girl students aspiring to do graduation in fashion design from Allahabad University. There will be no admission to the three-year BA in Fashion Design and Technology course run under the Center of Fashion Design and Technology of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) for the academic session 2024-25. If sources are to be believed, this course was being conducted since the inception of the centre. This means that there will be no admission in years old courses this time.

If sources are to be believed, the university administration has decided to close this course due to lack of interest from the girl students.

There were 58 seats for admission to the three-year undergraduate course. Since last year, admission to BA in Fashion Design and Technology was done through Common University Entrance Test. Only one course was being run under the Center of Fashion Design and Technology.
